With over 190 members on the list, the Howe Green Forum (The "HGCA Forum" or "[email protected]") is a free, quick and easy way of sending and receiving emails about the village. Membership of the Forum is optional and it is easy to "Unsubscribe" should you wish to.

- Official Parish and City notices (road closures etc).
- Police advice via Neighbourhood Watch and advice regarding local crime reports and warnings.
- Local news and upcoming events
- Appealing for help with a lost pet, requesting a baby-sitter or even selling something that you no longer need etc
- Asking for recommendations for trades people

GDPR
The GDPR is the 'General Data Protection Regulation' and it came into Law on Friday the 25th May 2018. At its core, this regulation places new obligations on organisations that handle and process EU personal data.
Our entire reason to exist is to enhance every residents' experience of living in Howe Green, and we have always been committed to keeping the small amount of personal information we hold about you safe and secure.The only personal details we hold about you concerns your name, email and home address and - if you pay via Direct Debit - your basic bank account details (account number and sort code). These bank details are, in the main only held and viewed by the Treasurer.
Once you set up a direct debit to pay the £3 'subs' per year this information is held securely by the bank we use in order to make a 'call' for the money at the appropriate time. This information is then only used by the bank on our behalf and is safely archived by us as it is no longer required.
If you join either Forum, your name and email address is stored and used, and again, this information is only used once in order to add you to the Forum(s). The information is stored safely and is not used, sold or appropriated for any other use by the Association or any third party. If you wish to "Unsubscribe" and leave the HGCA, then please let us know. To make it easier for all concerned, if you do not contact us to "Unsubscribe" from the email Forum(s) and perhaps from the wider HGCA membership; then we will assume you agree for us to continue to use the information.
